I left a test on the counter and came back 45 minutes later. The lines had faded badly. Second test read exactly at 10 minutes was perfect. Follow the timing window strictly.
The barn lights are dim but these lines are thick purple-red. Very easy to see one line vs two lines. No squinting or holding up to sunlight needed.
We stand 3 stallions and breed 40+ mares per year. Testing at day 25 lets me know which mares are open to rebook with another stallion immediately. This kit streamlined our whole program.
Tested two confirmed pregnant mares (both later foaled). Both tests showed two lines meaning NOT pregnant. That's two wrong results. Retested both with new strips and got one line. First strips were bad.
Tested a mare at day 19 — very faint but visible one line (pregnant). Tested again at day 28 — strong one line. She foaled a healthy colt. Early detection works even with faint lines.
